How much should I exercise in a week?
For most healthy adults, the Department of Health and Human Services recommends 2.5 hours of moderate aerobic exercise a week along with strength training twice a week. A good goal to set is at least try for 20-30 minutes of exercise a day. Can’t seem to find the time off? Try finding ten minutes to get away from your desk at work. Walk the stairs near you. Just get up and walk around the office for ten minutes.
Exercise is only one half of the puzzle. You need to follow a well-balanced diet in order to see the maximum rewards of living healthily. You can exercise all you want while eating nothing but salty snacks and fattening sweets.
